The story begins with Gordon and Jane, walking on a corridor, on the astral plane. Their two blue, regal tigers accompany them. The tigers are their spirit guides and guardians. Soon, they find themselves in a series of rooms, which have the internal appearance of a monastery. The rooms are located inside a rock formation. There are no doors or signs of an entrance. Huge pillars, with open spaces between, allow light to enter. They are standing in a large room, with a group of native American tribal elders, who are seated at a large table. Gordon is included in a group of twelve men, who are called the selected. Jane is in a group of twelve women, called the accepted. Each pair of the selected and accepted will have a role to play in the future, involving spiritual awakenings. Born in the same year, all of the selected of that year are male, and their accepted partners are female. On alternate years, it is reversed, with the females being the selected, and males the accepted.

"Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go..." Exodus 5:1 The Holy Bible And say: "Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: For Falsehood is (by its own nature) bound to perish." Bani Isra'il (The Children of Israel) Surah 17:81 The Holy Qur'an Why is the Israelite theme so prevalent in the American Negro Spirituals? Could it have anything to do with the Hebrew captives who were brought from Africa to America during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade? Tap the "Add To Cart" button to place your secure order. Receive your copy within days; and, ponder this question with me. Read on... From the 17th-19th centuries, America had a peculiar, unprecedented, brutal system of unpaid labor known as Chattel Slavery. Chattel Slavery was race-based; the diverse captive laborers were primarily of Central and West African descent. Many of those Africans were Hebrews. The slave owners, for the most part, were elite White Men. In cold-blooded legal terms, the Chattel Slave was classified as animal property, subject to being bought, sold, rented-out, and disposed of, at-will. The slave owner exercised absolute authority over the poor Chattel Slave's life, liberty, labor, and offspring. America's captives were callously subjected to physical--and mental--trauma, and gross sexual abuse, as a normal way of life. In those pale, and frightful, days of The Great Tribulation, many of America's Chattel Slaves immersed themselves in the story of the Hebrew Captivity that is told in The Holy Bible's Book of Exodus. They fervently believed that the Great God of the Hebrews, personified in Mighty King Jesus, would someday intervene on their behalf. With the coming of Emancipation in 1865, after 246 years of bitter bondage, they believed that The Lord did Reveal His Arm to free them; and, they celebrated as had no other People in the History of the World. Today it is commonly thought that Black America's Israelite folk tradition is mere symbolism derived from the similarity between the People's experience of slavery and that of the Hebrews in the Bible Story. But, with Hebrews from Africa in their midst, did America's inspired captives have a deeper reason? I invite you to take a glimpse beyond the veil of the American Negro-Israelite folk tradition. You are guaranteed to be enlightened, inspired, and intrigued, by my revelation of Black America's prophetic past and by my Biblical solution for a better tomorrow. This book is a must-read for Survivors of American Chattel Slavery; and, it's a great read for all who are interested in feeding their heart, soul, and mind. Theologians, Clergy, Seminary Students, and Lay People, alike, will find this book engaging. Seventeen years in the making, this dense, but digestible, thought-provoking tome is a teeming treasure trove of timeless Truth that is well worth the price.

A new and transforming approach to the Book of Revelation. Margaret Barker bases her study on a fresh reading of the primary sources. As an Old Testament scholar, she can read Revelation as Hebrew prophecy - ancient temple oracles which inspired Jesus and his own prophecies, and influenced the whole Jerusalem Church. Jerusalem was waiting for their Great High Priest to return and complete the Atonement at the end of the Tenth Jubilee. This expectation fuelled the revolt against Rome. Josephus, who deserted to Rome, was the false prophet. John, who escaped to Patmos, compiled Revelation as a record of the first generation. In the future, he taught, the Lord would return to his people in the Eucharist. This work illuminates the formative years of Christianity, in the social, religious and political situation of mid-first-century Palestine, in a quite remarkable way. It will have profound implications for the understanding of Christian origins and the development of Christian liturgy.
